Gently pinch your lips from edge to edge for about 30 seconds on upper and lower each. Apply a non-sticky-non shiny lip balm/chapstick and continue with the pinch for the same time. This gets the blood circulating in your lips. Then apply lipstick/lipgloss after wiping off lip balm/chapstick. Then with the end of your makeup brush - any one - lightly press the point into your lips from edge to edge.
VOILA! It is not guaranteed to work every time but it sure helps! Try doing the pinching at night before you sleep as the results will show in the morning. At night pinch slightly harder.

For an inexpensive one I love Rimmel Volume Boost and more expensive LipFusion. I have also used City Lips and that is good too...For the LipFusion and City Lips you have to keep using it to keep your lips plumped. you won't get a huge result. But they do work.

Girl that's just nasty. You want to know how those things work? Basically they cause an allergic reaction which causes more blood to flow to your lips. A better way to do it is to just get a nude lip liner and cover your entire lip in it, top and bottom, and then put gloss over it.

I was looking at the Too Faced Lip Injection and wondered if I should use it even though I have semi-full lips (not ANgelina Jolie but not thin either). I used Too Faced Lip Injection Extreme - it's meant to be used at night, but I use it during the day as you can use it under your favourite gloss or lipstick - the normal Too Faced Lip Injection is too thick for my tastes. Lip Injection Extreme has a gold tone to it. I also have quite full lips, and Lip Injection Extreme gives my lips that extra something. Too Faced does the best lip plumping products on the market, in my opinion. The best lip conditioner I have ever used (and I went through a heap before I found it), was believe it or not, Avon Beyond Color Nutralush and Plump Lip Conditioner. It makes a visible difference to your lips and you can wear it on it's own like a balm. It's a cheapie and lasts forever. For special occasions, I use Too Faced Lip Injection Lip Plumping Mask. It does a wonder job on my lips - but beware, all the Too Faced lip plumping products do sting and you have to stay inside your natural lip line or the skin around your mouth will go red. I have full lips[but not like angelina jolie] and it makes them bigger. I love it! you should try it! I have neutrogena lip nutrition also, my lips were REALLY chapped when I first used it, and within a week they were soft and not chapped.

I used Too Faced Lip Injection Extreme - it's meant to be used at night, but I use it during the day as you can use it under your favourite gloss or lipstick - the normal Too Faced Lip Injection is too thick for my tastes. Lip Injection Extreme has a gold tone to it. I also have quite full lips, and Lip Injection Extreme gives my lips that extra something. Too Faced does the best lip plumping products on the market, in my opinion. It makes a visible difference to your lips and you can wear it on it's own like a balm. It's a cheapie and lasts forever. For special occasions, I use Too Faced Lip Injection Lip Plumping Mask. It does a wonder job on my lips - but beware, all the Too Faced lip plumping products do sting and you have to stay inside your natural lip line or the skin around your mouth will go red. It's takes 30 days to make a visible difference but I've been using it with an immediate acting one and just saw a difference yesterday after using them together for about two weeks. I am growing a top lip where one did not previously exist to match my full bottom lip and I am incredibly happy! It's very shiny, smells lightly of cinnamon %26amp; grapefruit, comes in several beautiful shades (pink,burgundy, neutral, %26amp; clear), effective, and I love it! Hope this helps! :)
P.S. Lip Venom is excruciatingly painful and only works for an hour or so after you apply it then you lips literally deflate. No fullness is acquired long term.

the idea is that you apply just outside the outer edge of the lips to make your lips look bigger, blend in and apply your normal lip colour on top :)

To my surprise, I really like Victoria鈥檚 Secret Very Voluptuous Lip Plumper.
The lip gloss comes in a click pen style, so you can control how much you are applying. Also, the lip gloss isn鈥檛 too thick, and easy to apply. Keeps your lips feeling moisturized too!
The tingling is definitely noticeable, but only upon initial application. The tingling also decreases the more you use the product. You don鈥檛 have to worry about the 鈥榟ot sauce鈥?feeling, nor do you have to worry about your lips 鈥榠tching鈥?because of the tingling.
Within seconds of applying the lip gloss you can notice a difference. I was told that my lower lip looked fuller. Granted, the actual effect may not be dramatic, but I did notice slight enhancement. *This product is perfect if you want a little more fullness*
The product claims to smooth lines as well, but I can鈥檛 really tell. However, the gloss did make my lips feel smoother. What I can say is that the smell is pleasant (like sugar, candy), and there is barely any taste to the gloss.

It doesn't work well. It might work for a few mins. but that is about it. I would suggest Lipfusion xl or Lip venom. Lip venom does burn though. It works but it's a little painful for some. I use the Too Faced Lip Injection in Frostbite. It is a clear lip plumper with a little sparkle in it. Really cool and makes my lips look so much plumper, I love it. I brought mine for about 拢5 from http://www.beautyparlor.co.uk which is less than half price. Well worth buying and does really work!

I have found an answer. Try the AVON Anew Clinical Plump and Smooth Lip System. It is dual ended - one side smoothes wrinkles around the mouth, the other plumps. It is fantastic, unless you want color also. In which case for color try the Clinique full potential lips that plump and shine. Good luck! I adore them both.

I've been using this ';extreme'; lip plumper. Anyway I put it on last night and put it a little bit outside my lips so it could make my lips look bigger. It burned, but I figured thats just what it does. I put it on like that a bunch of times last night.
Now today where I had put it on my skin, my skin looks burned red and flaky. Is it possible this lip plumper burned me? It has cinnamon and cayenne pepper in it.

well, im not too fond of lip plumpers because of the price, so ive come up with a cheaper solution i do before i leave the house. i mix a good amount of red pepper caynne pepper with vaseline. i make it into a mask, and wear it on my lips for about five minutes. its really plumps the lips up for a good amount of time. rub it off with a towel. but just a warning, it does sting a bit, but so do lip plumpers.

The first time I used it I went outside and it was windy my hair stuck to my freshly glossed lips and I brushed it away when I looked in a mirror later I had red lines on the side of my face! It fades after about 20 min. though.

Lip plumping products working slowly over time?
Okay, I don't know much about lip plumpers, but I basically thought you apply it, it tingles for a few minutes and your lips start to plump. Anyway, I recently bought two: Maybelline Volume XL and Rimmel Volume Booster. I have been alternating between them and applying the product a couple of times a day. I swear there is no noticeable difference at all during the day, however when I wake up the next morning, my lips look slightly plumper than the day before.

They are supposed to plump your lips right when you put them on, not give you permanent or continuing results. Most contain stimulating oils such as peppermint or cinnamon that causes lip tissue to swell. They aren't miracle products and some can sting worse than others. I would recommend trying bare essentials Buxom big and healthy lip polish. It's $18. You can also try lip venom by urban decay, although that one stings a lot.
