I tried a lip plumping lip gloss and it stings is this normal?

i was given a present with chi chi (brand) mega lip plumper lip gloss as soon as i put it on my lips they began to sting, like needles on my mouth and on the tip of my tongue where some of the gloss went. am i allergic to this stuff or is this what is supposed to happen?I tried a lip plumping lip gloss and it stings is this normal?
Yeah, that's normal. They usually have cayenne pepper or some kind of irritant which causes the plumping. That's why they call them ';bee-stung lips';I tried a lip plumping lip gloss and it stings is this normal?
No this is completely normal, because your lips sting this is a very good sign that the lip gloss is working. There is a special substance in the gloss to make your lips hurt so they will swell up and give them a plumper look. Dont get rid of the gloss because if they really hurt after about 10 minutes of use your lips will get a bigger plumper look with the bigger the sting.Don't worry the sting goes when you begin to see your lips bigger. Some advice dont put it on your tongue unless you want a big tongue ;) lol x
The majority of lip plumpers on the market work by irritating the lips so that they swell up.

The only one I've found that wasn't like that is Neutrogena Advanced Solutions Lip Rejuvenating Formula. It's sold as an anti-aging product, but gives great results on lips of any age. The results are less instantly dramatic, but definitely apparent and build up over the amount of time you use it.
well lip plumpers are post to tingle so it like activates the pumping or somethi9ng but some people are to sensticve to the tingle like i use them and it gives me a little tingle and i liek the tingle! but a lot of poeple are to sensitve to use it so i would probally not use it for a while
yes its normal, because I have the same kind of lip gloss, and it also started to sting me. I thought it was expired, but someone told me that it was supposed to be doing that. So no i don't think you are allergic to it. All plumping lip gloss do that.
Yeah that's happened to me once, and like i found out i was allergic to something in it, check with your chemist or doctors about having a test to see if you are allergic to an ingredients..
They Have to sting to plump your lips. This happens because the chemicals in the lipgloss make your blood rush to your lips, therefore plumping them up :)

yes, its supposed to hit the nerves and stuff under your skin to make it react, hence the plumped lips. dont be worried if it stings
Yeah its normal after a few days of applying it all the time it wont irritate you.
Perfectly normal, this is how these stuff operates, they tingle that`s how lips plumps.
They usually sting
it is only ment to tingle. not sting. i wouldn't be using it anymore.
Well most off them do sting.
